The other day we provided our thoughts on the US Elections and the various ballot initiatives in the 9 states for marijuana legalization. The results are in and 8 of the 9 states passed their initiatives allowing for either recreation or medical marijuana within the state.
We also provided out thoughts on how the marijuana related stocks could trade based on the news and election results. Many of the US publicly traded companies stock prices ended the day on a down note. Attached is an overview of the US marijuana sector, the US MJ Index performance and our thoughts on why the stocks sold off and what this could mean going forwards for investors.
